Dedicated support for brilliant small business owners who are drowning in the day-to-day.
Feeling like you're juggling everything at once? I'm Abbey. I take the admin, operations and behind-the-scenes running of your business off your plate - the things you can't, won't, or shouldn't be doing yourself - so you can get back to the work you actually love.
I don’t just do the tasks, I think about them, properly, so you can actually put them down.
You didn't start your business to do the admin.
But somehow it's taken over. The work you’re good at waits while you clear the inbox. Or the inbox waits until the evening, when you'd rather be doing anything else. Either way, it's you doing it, because there's no one else to.
It takes time. It takes attention. And it keeps coming back to you.
It's not that you're disorganised. But there's only one of you.
That's where I come in.
Not as a spare pair of hands to run down your to-do list. What you actually need is someone who treats your business like a business - who uses their initiative, catches the thing that's about to go wrong, and knows when to ask rather than guess.
Because handing something over shouldn't mean explaining it three times and checking it twice. That's not handing it over. That's just holding it at arm's length.
Don't just take my word for it
“Abbey was an incredible asset to my business, offering invaluable support with a range of tasks, from document creation to email management. She is extremely organised, efficient, and always approaches each task with professionalism and care. Abbey’s ability to anticipate needs made my work so much easier, and I truly appreciate all her efforts. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of reliable and skilled assistance.”

Here’s what I can take off your plate
-
Twice a day, morning and afternoon, I work through your inbox - answering the enquiries, sorting the bookings, and moving the appointments that need moving. The few emails that actually need you are flagged and ready, with the context to deal with them. No more double-bookings, no more logging in at 10pm to check you've not missed something.
-
The files, the data, the systems, the hundred small things that keep a business ticking - done properly, during the day, by someone whose job it is. You stop being the one who does everything and go back to the work only you can do.
-
Spreadsheets, PDFs, templates, leaflets, lead magnets, social graphics. You bring the words, I make them look like they came from your business, not a generic template. You'll see it, tell me what's not right, and we'll adjust until it is.
-
Every task, date and dependency tracked and actually kept up to date. Deadlines watched rather than just written down, so the thing that was going to go wrong gets caught early, not when everyone is onsite. You do the work; I keep the plates spinning.
-
New pages, content updates, layout fixes, shop management. You tell me what needs doing - or just what's bugging you about it - and it gets done, looking like it belongs with the rest of your website.
-
The tasks that are part admin, part chasing, part figuring out - the ones that don't fit in a category or are specific to your business. You don't have to work out which service it counts as. If it needs doing, just ask!
A bit about me
I'm Abbey. I set up Fern & Willow because I'm good at exactly the things most business owners dread - the admin, the organising, the details that have to be right. The stuff that drains you tends to be the stuff I enjoy doing. (I own a label maker that I use at any opportunity. Make of that what you will.)
I've got a Fine Art degree from Central Saint Martins, two labradors called Frank and Arthur, and no time for things being done half-heartedly. When I take something on, I treat it like it's for my own business - because for as long as I'm working on it, it may as well be.
I work weekdays, I don't do 24/7, and that's exactly why the business owners I work with can finally switch off. Because you can't relax over the weekend if your work's being done at all hours. Boundaries only work if I keep them too.
What happens when you get in touch
Getting help shouldn't feel like another job to add to the list. Here's how simple it is:
Step 1: Decide what you want to delegate.
Have a nosy at what I do here. Whatever you dread most is usually a good place to start.
Step 2: Send me an email.
Nothing fancy, just tell me what you want help with. My email is: hello@fernandwillowservices.co.uk
Step 3:We have a chat.
A free, no-obligation call to see if we'd be the right fit. No pressure, no pitch.
Step 4: Then we go from there.
You make the decision, and if it's a yes, we start working together. That's it!
You don't have to be the one doing everything anymore.
You've seen what I can take on. When you're ready to hand something over, just let me know. No pressure, no pitch - just a conversation about how I can support you and your business.
Drop me an email at hello@fernandwillowservices.co.uk and we'll take it from there.
